Hi Steve. So glad you're enjoying the breaded scampi tails. Supermarkets only have to put a 1/6 of a scampi tail in to be allowed to call it scampi. What's the rest hey? I'm always so happy when people try ours. It really is the good stuff! Tom
Smoked mackerel was fairly salty. They were tasty, but my personal preference is for less salty food.

We're glad you found the Hot Smoked Mackerel tasty. Smoked mackerel is naturally quite rich and we do use a traditional curing process that brings out a bold, savoury flavour, which can come across as fairly salty to some palates.
If you prefer milder flavours in the future, you might enjoy pairing it with something creamy (like crème fraîche or buttered bread) or trying it in a salad with fresh ingredients to balance the saltiness.
