Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to send photographs and weights so that we could investigate this properly.
Vanessa has been a customer of ours for a number of years and has left many positive reviews in the past, so I took her concerns seriously and spoke directly with the supplier. The product is sold by frozen weight and carries a protective glaze, which is standard for IQF cod loins. The supplier maintains that the product is within specification, although I was not entirely satisfied with the response and have asked further questions.
We have sold a significant quantity of these cod loins, including from the same batch, and have not received similar feedback from other customers. However, I appreciate that Vanessa's experience was disappointing, and I have offered a goodwill gesture while I continue to review the product and alternative cod options.
Whilst we may not agree on the cause of the issue, I am grateful to Vanessa for bringing her concerns to my attention and for her continued support of our family business.

This was so tasty , good size too . Will be ordering more when these are gone as I’m histamine intolerant so need frozen at sea fish 👍
Tom’s fish is the best. His king prawns are the only frozen prawns I have ever purchased which don’t reduce from big to teeny weeny when cooking.
